Position Overview
The United Nations Foundation links the UN’s work with others around the world, mobilizing the energy and expertise of business and non-governmental organizations to help the UN tackle issues including climate change, global health, peace and security, women's empowerment, poverty eradication, energy access, and U.S.-UN relations.
Nothing But Nets is an innovative grassroots campaign that fights malaria, which claims the life of a child every two minutes. Our campaign goals are to raise critical funds to send life-saving insecticide treated bed nets to families and to advocate for malaria prevention programs like the President’s Malaria Initiative and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The selected intern will undertake supporting these and other special projects throughout their internship.
The Grassroots Advocacy Intern will report to the Grassroots Advocacy Officer and will work collaboratively to support the priorities of the grassroots advocacy team.

The United Nations Foundation offers unpaid full and part-time internships. We are happy to host interns who are able to receive academic credit or a stipend through their college or university. However, please note that it is not a requirement in order to intern with us.
